There are so many things to do in Vaughan! Nature lovers may want to check out the Boyd Conservation Area, while those who are interested in the finer things in life may enjoy the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. There is also the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame and Museum to visit.
There are also many casual recreational activities to partake in. One could spend the day in Canada's Wonderland, Canada's largest amusement park. One could also spend the day shopping at Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre, a gigantic shopping mall!
If you're of a more spiritual nature, you may want to visit the Baitual Islam Mosque. It's one of the largest mosques in Canada and is a part of the "Ahmadiyya Peace Village" - a large Muslim community in Vaughan.
The Ontario Soccer Association is based out of Vaughan and is the largest sports organization in Canada, with over 500000 registered players. The Ontario Soccer Centre is also located in Vaughan, great for when you want to practise your soccer skills or just watch a game!
Vaughan is also the home to the Toronto Canada Moose (a Tier II Junior "A" Hockey Team), the Vaughan Vipers (another Tier II Junior "A" Hockey team), and the Vaughan Flames (a top-level women's ice hockey team, who are members of the Canadian Women's Hockey League.)
