There are numerous communities located in the city of Vaughan. Some of the most prominent are:
Thornhill: A city within the city, Thornhill has many schools and is largely residential.
Concord: Concord is a suburban community and is the partial home to Vaughan Mills Shoppinc Centre (as is Maple). It is an industrial hub.
Maple: Home to Paramount Canada's Wonderland, the Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre, Southbrook Farms Winery, and the Baitul Islam Mosque - there's always something to do in Maple!
Woodbridge: A largely suburban community, there is a large Italian population and this is the home to the Boyd Conservation Area.
Kleinburg: Home to the McMichael Canadian Art Centre and the Toronto International Film Studio, Kleinburg is bustling with activity. It's also home to the conservation area known as the Kortright Centre.
